TCU +8 @ Texas

For all you degenerate gamblers out there (myself included), the current line for the TCU/Texas game is +8 with an over/under of 61.  The number there that jumps out at me the most is how high that O/U seems to me.  We play defense and haven't played much offense lately.  Texas's offense scares me a lot less than the past few teams we've played, so I don't see how it's that high.  As far as the 8 points goes, I'd say that looks about right to me.  Remember, however, that this is a TCU team that plays much better on the road, you know, because they get to play in front of full stadiums with passionate fans and all.

I know this isn't much of a post, but it's still early and there will be plenty more in the days to come.  As for now, what are your thoughts on what the line is currently set at?  Do you think it shifts drastically one way or the other before kickoff?  If you had to make a wager today, what would it be on?

I think I'd bet on the Frogs at +8 but that line scares me either way. Horns have been hot and cold all season and it just depends who shows up Saturday. I have the feeling they will want this game bad. Let's hope we want it more.

No shock there. DeLoss Dodds is a bitch.

Over/under has already dropped to 58. Not a surprise there either.

I like how in that article Dodds states that not many teams would want to play at home on Thanksgiving. What is that based on? Teams hating to play in primetime on Thanksgiving, aka the largest holidays known to football.
