David Johnson Out For Season

David Johnson Kellen Moore #11 of the Boise State Broncos is sacked by Ross Forrest #52 and David Johnson #53 of the TCU Horned Frogs at Bronco Stadium on November 12, 2011 in Boise, Idaho.

Word is that defensive tackle David Johnson is out for the season after coming down with an injury Saturday.  While I don't know the specifics on what Johnson's injury was, it definitely appeared that he injured his knee late in the game Saturday afternoon.  Word is that he will not play again this season.  This is obviously another huge loss for a TCU squad that seems to be snakebitten this season.  It would've been great to have David Johnson against a team as great at running the ball as K State, but hopefully DT's Chucky Hunter, Davion Pierson, and Jon Lewis continue to play as well as they have all year and fill the void left by Johnson.  Thankfully for us he's just a sophomore, so Johnson's career at TCU is nowhere near finished, and I'm sure he'll come back strong next season.  I've enjoyed watching him and his relentless motor over the course of his first 2 seasons at TCU, and can't wait to see him back in action.  Get well soon, David.
