Frogs after Nebraska transfer RB

Interested in a four-star running back that could step in once Ed Wesley, Matthew Tucker and Aundre Dean graduate following the 2012 season?  I thought so.  Aaron Green, who scored 3 touchdowns on 130 total yards as a true freshman at Nebraska last year is looking to transfer...and possibly to TCU.

Green's father, Tony, told reporters that his son's possible transfer destinations include TCU, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas Tech and Houston.  He would have to sit out the 2012 season, but could use his redshirt and be a sophomore in 2013.

Coming out of Madison High School in San Antonio, Green was about as hyped as high school players get.  He broke a city record when he scored 9 touchdowns in a game as a sophomore, and ended his career with over 5,300 total yards and 45 touchdowns.  He was named to the 1st team Super Team by Dave Campbell's Texas Football prior to his senior year, and rivals ranked him as the 8th best running back in the country.

His high school highlights, shown below, will make it obvious why he had a scholarship offer list that read like a who's who of college football programs: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas and USC amongst many others:

It'd be pretty sweet to see this kid wearing TCU purple!

The last big time running back recruit that transferred here is more concerned with rapping, fashion, social media........

Who is Aundre Davis?

Some TCU gear in the crowd flashes right in front of the camera around the 1:15 mark.

Sign of things to come?

Whoops. Meant Aundre Dean instead of Andre Davis. Got my TCU running backs mixed up!

Fixed.

That highlight film shows pretty good vision and burst. Def would like to see him as a Frog and I think the Graduation of those guys this year could be a big selling point.
