Watch the Press Conference LIVE

At 2:00pm, Coach Patterson will hold a press conference to discuss the Horned Frogs' 2012 recruiting class. By now, you've read what we have to say about these kids and likely what Rivals, Scout, Dave Campbell's Texas Football and more have to say about them. Now it's time to find out what GP thinks, although he's usually fairly reticent to heap too much praise on the newest crop of "Paper Tigers".

Watch it LIVE at 2:00pm by clicking HERE.

Don't know if they'll replay it, but the Skiff (TCU 360) had a stream and that audio worked. Took me a bit to find it after trying GoFrogs.com.

I LOVE Devonte Fields! And James McFarland. And Joey Hunt.

Man, put them together with Lewis and Hunter ... TCU is going to be TOUGH up front for a lot of years. I can't wait!

(Did I mention I love Devonte Fields?)

Do we know what players have not returned to the team this semester for whatever reasons yet? Is Tavaras/Trey Battle no longer on the team?

Battle is no longer on the team.

SNK-Is there anyone else that we know is no longer on the team other than Battle?

It's too bad Battle couldn't pull it all together. He contributed a good amount his true freshman year, including the Rose Bowl.

He was a solid special teams player for the majority of this year until he got in the dog house. As of right now, I think Battle is the only casualty, at least publicly. Remember we lost Ethan Grant and Blake Roberts for injuries as well during the season and their careers at TCU are over too.

I think that's it for now. Hopefully no more.

There are also rumors of losing Greg Burk's to injuries similar to Roberts and Grant.

yeah heard rumblings there too, but haven't really heard it confirmed. Wouldn't surprise me. Being a missile on special teams for a few years who literally knocks the shit out of someone every time downfield probably takes it's toll.
