Shock Linwood to Baylor...

Per his twitter feed. I guess he fell in love with the Waco scenery and plethora of pale, chubby virgins patrolling the campus. Mark this under who gives a shit. If we lose Daje I'll be bummed, but I'm not gonna get too butt-hurt about losing the next Donald Massey.

Okay, so maybe I'm in a little bit of a sour mood...

Bio says he is 5'9" which actually means 5"7." He was probably a little small for the Froggies.

As long as Pope, Hunt and Fields sign, I'll be a happy Frog.

Supersweet will be bummed about missing out on the next Massey

If there is any spot the Frogs can afford to lose it's a slot WR/RB. We already have plenty of skill talent on offense to compete in the Big 12. As long as we keep the guys expected to make an impact on D we'll be fine. Daje, Fields, Hunt, Big V, Pope, and any other defensive guys we can pick up (McFarland, Lathan, Blake, Moore) are the most important guys to hold onto IMO.

Just to clarify, Big V is an offensive lineman. Lumped him in with the defensive guys because he could be our starting left tackle for three years.

Are we still holding out hope for McFarland? I hope so!

He's here right now, with Lathan. I'd like to land both. Could be a good (or bad) weekend.

Yup. McFarland, Lathan, Moore, and Colin Blake are all visiting today. Could be a huge weekend or hugely disappointing. If we could land one of the DE's and one of the DB's I'd be happy. Blake is one of the Top 15 corners in the country and would probably start right away. Could really use McFarland and Lathan too. We are thin at DE.

If we lose Daje but land Blake, I'd call it a wash and be okay. If we don't get either, hide all razor blades, ropes, guns, pills, etc. from me. Ok not really, but that would blow.

Rivals says Thomas Johnson was visiting this weekend as well.

Thomas Johnson switched his visit to A&M per rivals. I have a feeling we can land Colin Blake now that A&M decided they will forgo a defense in the SEC (by hiring Sumlin). Jordan Moore looks like a hitstick machine & at 6'3" I could definitely see Glasgow developing him into an all-conference safety.

Zach Jackson, S, Georgia, Rivals 3 star 75, ESPeoN 3 star 78, just switched committment from Illinois to TCU. Solid pickup.

McFarland commits back to TCU!

I am a happy man. Meet Jerry Hughes, part deux.

In hindsight, Linwood did us a favor by freeing up a spot for places where we have more of a need. Thanks, Shock. Enjoy Baylor.

I know it is not the exciting thing to notice but it feels like we are getting a lot more developed talent on the line than years past. If this keeps up, I think little TCU's transition to the Big 12 could be reasonably good.
