We all knew Daje was gone. Seems like we got an upgrade by landing Deante Gray. I say upgrade because this kid seems just as explosive as Daje, but he wants to be a Frog. Gotta thank his high school teammate BJ Catalon for helping us land this one.

Losing Pope hurts worse than losing Daje because he's a legacy. Can't imagine Jason Teague is too happy with his little brother. Hopefully, he can talk some sense into him before Wednesday. While recruiting doesn't seem like it's finishing the way we'd like we should stay positive. There are still plenty of impact players in this class with more possibly coming. Go Frogs!!

I bet Jason is happy for his brother wherever he ends up.

It will be fine. Let these kids go play where they want.

Losing some may hurt, it may not. These rankings are so subjective - LT was not a five star. TCU has never have a top ten class and yet won the Rose Bowl.

I am pretty excited for next year. I think we can reasonably expect a good, winning record and going to a bowl game that does not suck.

I don't so much mind losing kids from a talent/ability perspective (GP & co gates more out of 3 stars than most people can out of 4 & 5 stars), it's just the idea that recruits (like Daje) "settle" for TCU until one of the "Big boys" come calling. There still seems to be this stigma that the UT's of the world are somehow inherently "better" because they are "big time".
Maybe Daje and Pope will shine with UT & A&M, but the odds are against them seeing as how these schools hoard talent they can't use and then don't seem to be able to get the most from the guys they do use.

Good riddance with Pope...I can see somebody switching to UT..UT/Austin atleast has some redeemable qualities, but A&M has absolutely nothing outside of the gameday atmosphere that is appealing....Either Pope is an awful person and genuinely likes the aggie lifestylte or he got cash money

"Why go to A&M, when you can go to TCU" - quote from the newest TCU commit Deante' Gray

TCU will win more games the next 2 years than aggie will in the SEC the next 4 yrs. Have fun Pope

Glad to see the Rifle news - only undefeated team left... 27th straight regular season win. All after finishing 3rd last year and being National Champs in 2010 (the first all-female team to do so). Go Shooting Frogs! (from a former Shooting Frog)

Have always been curious, what is up with your Avatar photo? Is that Burt Reynolds circa 1977?

What? No mention of Andy Dalton's two TD passes in the Pro Bowl? Maybe the Bengals should trade for Brandon Marshall.

yes to the Burt Reynolds question

We're never going to get top tier recruits without a Dixie Chicken in Fort Worth.
