Meet the Future Frogs: Keivon Gamble

Another future Horned Frog that will be on campus this semester to take part in off-season workouts and spring practice is Keivon Gamble, a 5'10" 190lb cornerback from Dallas' Lincoln High School by way of Trinity Valley Community College.

Gamble was a 1st Team All-District 12-4A corner in his senior year at Lincoln in 2008, was given 2 stars by Rivals and signed a letter of intent with SMU after having previously been committed to Tulsa. He redshirted at SMU in 2009 before academic problems forced him to transfer to Trinity Valley.

During his time at TVCC, Gamble honed his coverage skills and became a master at disrupting opposing passing games and was among the nation's JUCO leaders in pass break-ups and interceptions. He also earned a third star from Rivals and was ranked the #8 JUCO corner in the nation by JCGridiron.com. With his upgraded recruiting pedigree, he upgraded schools by committing to TCU in early September.

Since he'll be joining the program nine months before they kick off their first Big 12 season, look for him to be a key contributor and possibly even a starter next fall.
