Tournament Update

The 2nd Annual Spitblood TCU Scramble Tournament on July 23rd at Whitestone is fast approaching. We still have room for a few more teams and need you to sign up as soon as possible if you are interested in playing. The tournament kicks off at 2pm and I just received word today that the kind people at Coors Distributing of Fort Worth will be providing beer for all. Here's the link to sign up. Please email thefinch@spitbloodtcu.com with any questions.

We have some great prizes this year and plan to raise a healthy amount of money for The Purple People Seaters Organization, and I have no doubt this year will be a huge success thanks to all of the participants and tournament chairs help.

SPITBLOOD THANKS:

NCAA Football 2012 is out

A few weeks ago, I erroneously reported that EA Sports' NCAA Football 2012 had hit stores. Because of the large reading audience of Spit Blood, this apparently caused a massive rush on Game Stop stores across the country, apparently causing security concerns serious enough to warrant a letter from their lawyers insisting that I publish a correction.

That, or one of our dozen or so readers let me know about the mistake. Either way- believe what you want, but apparently the game is out in stores now. I actually don't know if this is 100% true, but I'll believe it since I read it on Angry Trey's blog- which includes a few more custom-TCU covers like the one you see above. Apparently Mark Ingram is on the real cover.

I'm not much of a gamer myself, but I assume some of you out there are. So if you know of the code that lets you play as Al Gore or Warren Moon or whatever, let everyone else know about it in the comments section.

The Internet presents: A 2011 MWC Preview

This is far from anything I would call "high quality", but it's relevant- and those of you that have DirecTV probably watch plenty of stuff like this on The Mtn, despite it looking like high school students produced it.
