NCAA Regional Projections

The Frogs do not have a game this week until their road series against Oklahoma State in Stillwater starts on Friday night, but two college baseball websites have put their guesses as to where TCU (whose RPI is currently #28)will be playing the first weekend in June in the NCAA Regionals: still has TCU as a Regional host, and has Rice, Baylor and Stephen F. Austin as their projected guests at Lupton. Remember that SFA, who as the #4 seed would be TCU's opening-round opponent in this scenario, beat the Frogs back on March 30th. has the Frogs as a #2 seed in the College Station Regional. Texas A&M, obviously, would be the #1 seed as the host. TCU would be playing #3 seed Southeastern Louisiana (who is 31-16 with an RPI of #46, just ahead of UCLA & Texas Tech) in the first round while the Aggies would take on #4 seed South Dakota State.

Stadium Renovation Photo Update

If you're like me and would like to drive by the stadium every day to check on the progress being made but can't, this post is for you. What I hope will be come to known as "The House that Gary Built" is coming along nicely, and not one but two photo albums were updated yesterday showing how the stadium is coming together:

-This one is from, and shows a number of up-to-date shots of the current status of the project from a variety of angles. It even shows some of the work being done on the locker rooms and weight facilities.

-This one is from the Gary Patterson/Spit Blood facebook page (3,600 fans and counting), and is a collection of still shots showing the progess on the north & west ends of the stadium from early March up through this week. This album should continue to be updated throughout the project.
