Kurt Thomas signs with Blazers

It's nearly a full-time job keeping up with all of the Horned Frogs in the NFL and MLB system, but for a while now there has been just one former TCU basketball player in the NBA. Luckily, the string of having at least that one in the league will continue as Kurt Thomas has signed with the Portland Trail Blazers. The 2011-2012 season will be Thomas' 17th in the NBA, and the Blazers will be the 9th different franchise that he's played for. At 39, he'll be the oldest player in the league- exactly one day older than Grant Hill.

Looks as though Color Cameras hadn't even been invented when he played at TCU.
