Mother Nature + Rangers = TCU attendance FAIL?

Thank goodness the Frogs have already been invited to the Big 12, because there's a chance that a national television audience may get a lesson in the attendance struggles of a small private school in a large metropolitan area on Friday night.

Tomorrow's World Series Game 6 is in jeopardy of being postponed because of the forecast for rain in St. Louis- 80% during the day and 70% at night. If the game is pushed back to Thursday night, that would mean a potential Game 7 would be pushed to Friday night- at the exact time that the Frogs are facing BYU on ESPN. I'm sure we've got a lot of fans that don't care about the Rangers at all, and plenty more that would put the Frogs before the Rangers no matter what...but I really hope we don't have to find out exactly how many.

All the more reason for Colby to get it done in Game 6, huh?

After being AT the game last night I'm convinced no Rangers fan could handle a game 7. The boys need to get their work done tomorrow. While they're at it, they can send that sports karma right along to the frogs. This past weekend combined with this week could hands down be one of the most amazing sport weeks in the DFW! Get it boys!

^ humble brag.

Maybe Jerry would play the Rangers game on the Jumbo Tron while the Frogs are playing?

VF... that would be awesome. But knowing how sports networks are, I'm sure Fox would say no-way are you going to broadcast our game on screens during an ESPN game.

There's probably no way to avoid the score at the game either....damn.

Sit in a box. Problem solved. That's what CJ Wilson would do.

If baseball ceased to exist I would be a better person

Wednesday is my birthday and I have literally been praying for a Rangers World Series championship since I left the womb. It's fate. They are going to get it done tomorrow.

If I had to choose... I'd be watching the Rangers. Yeah, I know. I'm terrible.

The Frogs and the Cougs could be a combined 0-15 and I would still watch TCU football over the World Series.

Frogs... period. I used to be a hardcore Rangers fan, but after such things as A-Rod, Tom Hicks, John Rocker... that relationship really soured. The Rangers and I are kind of like exes that have just gotten to the point of being FB friends again.

It's a major predicament, but I do like the CJ Wilson method. He IS writing a comedy, an action flick and a dramatic comedy in his spare time, after all.

Arsenal - I feel you on that. But man, this team has some INCREDIBLY good vibes to the point that it's pretty much cancelled out all the Hicks/A Rod sourness. Just watch the myriad Ron Washington dance youtube vids. I promise it will bring you back into the fold. I'm among the worst of the Rangers bandwagon fans - cheered for them probably longer than any DFW team, but baseball ranks FAR behind football and basketball in my book - but man, it's been pretty unreal fun to watch.

I'll tell ya... When the Rangers nailed the strike-em-out-throw-em-out the other night, I yelled with pure joy at a non-TCU sporting event for the first time in... I don't even know the last time I did that. But still, I'm just not going to let them break my heart anymore. I think they'll win this series, and if so, I'll probably become more than the passive fan I've been the last two years.
But as to why I would always pick the Frogs over the Rangers... I went to TCU, I'm a member of that "club"... I'm friends with TCU athletes... I can't say any of that about the Rangers.
I'm a Rangers Fan, but I don't need to add "Fan" when I say I'm a Frog.

do we know if they will be showing the rangers on the screens at cowboys stadium tonight?

It'd be very unusual if they did. I'd watch your email because, if they are, I would imagine CDC would let everyone know to help boost attendance.

With zero knowledge on the inside of this subject, I'll go ahead and say there's a 0% chance that happens.

Zero percent chance it happens. I think it was a crazy rumor started by me.

In all honesty, that would kind of be a slap in the face to the players on the field.

I'll just mix my chants for tonight.
