Spit Blood Predictions: TCU vs. Baylor

(Computer chip in brain)

If Spit Blood were the FOX Network, you could consider these prediction threads to be The Simpsons. They were the first posts that we found any success with, and were many of our readers' introduction to our site. They are admittedly not as entertaining as some of our other offerings these days, but we just can't bring ourselves to cancel them.

I know a lot of folks probably took today completely off, and there are some of you out there like me who are just "working" in the morning. If you're not going to the game at all, well, shame on you. Whatever you're doing today, I hope you'll take a minute to visualize tonight's game and register your prediction in the comments section. Give me your prediction on the score of the game as well as the stat lines (comp/att, yards, TDs/INTs as well as rushing yards) for Casey Pachall, Robert Griffin (THE THIRD...just in case you were confusing him with his unfamous father or grandfather) or any other QBs you think might see playing time...

I figure it may be the first time there are 4 - 100 yard rushing performances by a backfield. The double headed OC is going to have a field day against a new D that they coach against all the time.

Maponga will be our player of the game as he will separate RG III's head from his shoulders.

Score prediction - Frogs - a whole bunch

Bears - just like their anus-----a bloody 0.

"Bears - just like their anus-----a bloody 0" <--- Awesome.

TCU 38-10

Pachall: 15-22, 210 yards - 2 TD/1 INT

Griffin: 10-12, 189 yards - 1 TD/0 INT

Griffin starts out looking good, but a blindside sack by Broughton puts him out of the game.

Baylor starts off hot, firing on all cylender, picks off Pachall twice in the first half and go into the locker rooms sporting a 14-3 lead.

Then Patterson does some major yelling and the Frogs come out fired up. TCU's athletes and depth take over, Pachall settles down and the Frog's D goes into lockdown mode.

Final TCU 31-14.

"GR3"- 16-24 202yd, 1TD, 1 INT, Rushing 54yd, 1 TD.
Pachall- 17-27 196yd, 1TD, 2 INT, Rushing 102yd

Griffin - Air: 10/23, 220, 1TD, 1 INT; Ground: 11 for 80y, 1TD

Tanner Brock has double digit tackles (per usual) and Maponga grabs a pair of sacks. Wesley & Boyce each get over 100 yards.

TCU 40
BU 14

Lots of running the ball. I'll be shocked if Pachall throws the ball more than 20 times.

TCU 27
Baylor 13

Ladarius Brown and Brandon Carter have unprecendented first game true freshman performances each scoring a TD, Pachall 14-19 227 yards, 2 TDS, 0 INT. Ed Wesley 22 rushes for 114 yards 3 TD's.

Frogs Roll, 41-17

All Griffin talk regarding Heisman is silenced.
Reloaded, yet again dominant TCU "D" becomes new team story line.
Boyce and Wesley added to Heisman watch list!
