Saving Ross Evans

The Heimlich Maneuver...

Will someone please use this on Ross Evans before it's too late?

On tv the announcers seemed surprised of garys decision to kick it, but thought that it was a good opportunity to give evans some confidence...

Nineteen yards. Is this kid for real? I'm starting to feel like he is doing this on purpose to piss off all the fans.

I actually seriously considered jumping on the field and kicking his ass. To top it off when I watched the re-play at home there was a moment when the announcers were talking him up as some big contributor to frog football.

I'm sure I can find something... although in the interest of not sounding like complete UTish asshole fans, if we do this during the season, we should keep it to one post and not a whole week.

I'm not really going to do a whole week. I actually just have two posts in mind. The first is a "possible alternatives to RE" that is (mostly) tongue in cheek. The second post involves a video I plan on making later this week.

I may rag on the kid, but he's still a young guy who, despite his problems on the field, is doing something that I couldn't come close to being able to do. He might not be the greatest kicker ever, but he's still better at it than I would be.

Although I don't really want our own General Custer overtaking LT's scoring record after his Little Big Horn (Utah, 2008) debacle
