“Just be sure you don’t smoke it”

I know we have some readers that don't like these Breaking Bad posts, so out of respect to their whining and the creative efforts of Viking Frog, I'm posting this so that it appears below his video. But I'm not going to quit posting them now, because how could I after last night's episode? I don't want to give away too much, but for those that watched last night- has Uncle Hank cemented himself as your favorite character on the show? Honestly, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have both taken home hardware for their work on this show- I think it's Dean Norris' turn.

Season 4, Episode 7: "Problem Dog"

Uncle Hank is greatness. Gus needs to get dead sooner rather than later.

I don't see a way that Gus survives this season. Unless the writers give Hank the axe...

So when Gus was talking to the representative from the Mexican cartel, what was the "yes or no" question that the cartel guy was posing? Did I miss that, or was it supposed to be mysterious?

Dont think it ever implies it, but surely it has something to do with whether or not Fring and co are going to back off and let the cartel run things to avoid future conflict, right? Clearly the cartel guy had no intentions of negotiating any sort of ways to share the business, so I don't see what else it could be.

i thought it was maybe giving up walter or the recipe, something like that.

Ugh, why do you ALWAYS have to dirty up SpitBlood with recaps of the best show to ever hit the airwaves, maybe even including the Wire? I mean, we have such a vast variety of contributors who post such interesting things on a near hourly basis, you're just mucking up the machinery with these.

sarcasm fonttt.

I definitely think the cartel thing has to do with giving up Walt/recipe.

Ahh yes. I completely overlooked that, which was dumb. Next week's episode will be absolutely nuts. They're gonna be on quite a time crunch to try and get Gus dead before da police get him. Whatever happens, it will be explosive, but I don't see Gus going down easy.
