Breaking Bad is back

No, this post has absolutely nothing to do with TCU sports. But it's the summer, most of our readership (and contributors...) are on vacation from Spit Blood, and Breaking Bad is simply the best show on television. Chuck Klosterman agrees. Now that Season 4 has started, we'll post something every Monday morning about Sunday night's episode for those of you that are into it- and we'll try to keep it where any spoilers are either in the comments section or in a link. For those of you that aren't into it, I recommend getting caught up from the beginning.

So do you think Gus killed Victor because he was at the crime scene and he wanted to tie up loose ends? Or because he wanted to show Walt/Jesse, "You kill one of my employees... I can kill them, too"? At first I thought the former but having let it simmer overnight, I'm going latter now. That man is crazy. Best use of non-dialogue suspense ever.

SO glad it's back - this will help ease the pain between now and Two-a-days reports on Menace.

I think it was a little of both...Victor clearly showed that he didn't think being seen at the crime scene was a big deal...then showed that he didn't think the cooking process needed too much discipline. But yeah, Gus clearly wanted to send a message to Walt & Jesse...and he definitely did.

Also, the fact that Gus never really intended to hire Walt until Gale persuaded him too...wow.

Did Jesse even have a line last night?

Jesse was too shell-shocked to speak, and possibly high. Either way, I'm just glad I don't have to poop into a bucket like Hank.

It was kind of nice seeing Gus get his hands dirty, but I'm still scratching my head as to why it was Victor.

Gus to Victor:

"Chapter fucking security, pledge!"

Jesse DID have a line, and it pretty much summed up Gus' actions. He said something like, "If he can't kill us, he's going to make working for him as miserable as possible" But he didn't end it with "Yo" so clearly he has a ways to go before getting his post-murder mojo back
