Recruiting Update

Although our attention has been diverted with the start of baseball season and spring football, Coach Patterson and his staff have continued their recruiting hot streak. Yesterday they picked up the 8th member of the Class of 2012 when Pflugerville Hendrickson's Daje Johnson (pictured above) committed to play at TCU. Johnson, a 5'10" 180lb athlete with a 4.4 forty time, is listed as an athlete and could end up playing any number of positions once he gets to Fort Worth.

At this time last year, TCU had four commitments for the 2011 class- so it looks like recruits were impressed with a second consecutive undefeated regular season and Rose Bowl victory. For those of you that haven't been keeping up, here is the current list of 2012 commits and below are a few links to some free highlight videos of these future Frogs:
-Daje Johnson, ATH, Pflugerville Hendrickson
-LaDarius Anthony, RB, Kilgore
-Austin Aune, QB, Argyle
-Griffin Gilbert, WR/TE, Austin Lake Travis
-Joey Hunt, DT, El Campo
-Tyler Matthews, QB, McPherson, Kansas
-Edward Pope, DB, Carthage
Couldn't find one for James McFarland. Sorry...

I hope we don't lose Pope to LSU.
