Frogs add '12 Kilgore RB

LaDarious Anthony, previously committed to Baylor, had a change of heart last night and switched his commitment to the Frogs. Anthony is a 6 foot 180 pound back out of Kilgore and is related to former Frogs Wayne Daniels and Nick Sanders. You have to feel good for the kid who could have made a terrible decision to spend four years of his life in Waco. He looks to be a great addition to the 2012 class, see for yourself.

Does this hurt or help our chances of landing Jonathan Gray?

I think Johnathan Gray knows he will be the #1 guy if he sets foot on this campus, so I doubt it would sway him either way. I think my biggest selling point to Gray would be that at UT, they haven't been able to run since Jamaal Charles left, and he would be backing up Malcolm Brown for 3 years (even if that isn't true).

I think that with Ethan Grant moving to WR, TCU is taking two RBs this year- Gray or no Gray.

Particularly since we didn't take any last year. I agree with Short, if Gray wants to come here he knows he'll be the guy.

Grant is moving to WR? Makes sense.

As much as it hurts to wish them success, we probably want Malcolm Brown to break every single NCAA rushing record that exists and discourage Gray thinking he'll split carries with him...

Actually, what the hell am I thinking? We want Brown to go down with a career ending injury due to the ineptness of UT's offensive line and scare Gray away from Austin.

Plan B is a better plan, Sir Wesley.
