Couple other Tidbits

Bruce Feldman over at ESPN wrote an article yesterday ranking the fastest players in college football. TCU's own Skye Dawson checked in on the list at #6. I'm sure alot of people feel the same why I do when I say that I want to see the ball in Skye Dawson's hands a lot more than last season. Yeah, he's tiny, I get it, but if Fuenderson can figure out a way to get the ball to Skye more often, I think we will see alot of long plays from this guy. Basically he can flat out fly and if he can break some tackles, defenders won't have any chance catching up to him. It's an insider article so here is the excerpt on Dawson:

6. Skye Dawson, WR, TCU Horned Frogs

An unheralded football recruit, Dawson came to TCU with big-time track credentials. He won the Texas Relays 100-meter dash with a time of 10.43, and went on to win the state title in the 100, 4x100 and long jump. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder sparked the Horned Frogs relay team in the 4x100 that ranked in the top five in the NCAA for the majority of the outdoor season. In addition, he won the 60-meter title at the 2010 MWC Indoor Championships.

And on another note, did anyone else catch Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel last night? If not, I definitely suggest recording it the next time it's on and watching the whole thing. Alot of accusations being pointed all over the place that left me with one question: How in the HELL does Auburn still have a football team on the field?

I'm with you on getting Dawson the ball more. With so many WRs graduating after last year, I think there will be more opportunities for him. I have heard that he's giving our DBs fits in spring practice.
