Rose Bowl celebration planned

TCU will hold a celebration for the football team's Rose Bowl win and 13-0 season on Sunday, January 16th at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. I would've preferred a ticker-tape parade in downtown Fort Worth, but I understand the logistics of planning something like that are probably fairly challenging. This will still end up being a very cool event, I would imagine- and I hope there will be plenty of recruits in town for it.

Total BS. I live in Columbia, SC (granted, smaller than FW, but the largest city in SC). Our major got a parade together for the baseball team when Carolina won the CWS - it was held THE SAME WEEK THE TEAM RETURNED!! It's completely disrespectful for the city to not host an out-and-out parade for their team.

Mayor, not major. I got too amped up writing and didn't edit. :)

The team isn't in town right now. It's Christmas break. They all went straight to their hometowns and families following the game. They weren't home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Let them have some time for themselves, and when everyone is back and the semester is in full swing they will get their proper accolades.
