As if Chuck Hunter's January 16th commitment wasn't music enough to Frog fans ears, he was joined on the interior of the defensive line the very same day by Klein Oak's Jon Lewis. And as if landing two superior DTs on the same day wasn't awesome enough, Lewis was stolen from the Red Raiders the same week they took a TCU assistant coach and decided they weren't quite up for playing the Frogs in a rebuilding year for the much smaller private school.
Back to Lewis, though. He moved to the Houston area from Fresno, CA, and racked up 22 sacks when he got to Klein Oak- including 13 as a senior this past fall. At 6'2", 265lbs he'll need to add some size to play inside at the college level, but being a bit undersized didn't scare away schools coast to coast that offered him a scholarship. Of course, he's plenty of big already to play end. Either way, watch him dominate:
