Meet the Future Frogs: The John Tyler Duo

Gotta respect the football being played in the 903

On March 1 of this past year, about two weeks after Kolby Griffin became the first member of the Class of 2011, TCU received commitments from #2 and #3 when Jarrett Anderson went to his hometown of Tyler to land a pair of John Tyler Lions, David Bush and Chris Hackett:

At 5'10", 165lb, Bush has been described by ESPN as "a water-bug of an athlete with tremendous quickness, acceleration and slippery change-of-direction." He played quarterback at John Tyler- throwing for 1,934 yards and 15 TDs as a senior- but look for him to play wide receiver or possibly corner at TCU with a good chance to also make an impact in the return game.

Hacket is a 6'1", 185lb defensive back who is expected to play safety at TCU. As a senior, Hackett was named to Rivals' All-America Team after picking off an amazing 12 passes, breaking up 12 more, recording 60 tackles and forcing four fumbles. Hacket is rated, like Bush, as a three-star recruit by Rivals, and he is also their #36 safety in the nation and #61 player in the state of Texas.
