Play Ball!

All of the fun gets started over at Lupton at 2:00pm today, when Baylor and Arizona begin what we can all hope will be a draining, 15+ inning game in which they both ehxaust their lineups and pitching staffs. That would also provide some extra tailgating time for TCU fans as they await the Frogs' game against Lamar, slated to start at 7:00pm.

If you're as geeked for this tournament as I am, you want to read as much as you can about it before heading to the ballpark (which I'm annoying enough not able to do this whole weekend), so here are a few tidbits about the Fort Worth Regional:

-This may have been posted previously, but Kendal Rogers of Rivals compiled his preview of the Cowtown Regional.

-David Peterson of discusses the four head coaches of this weekend's participating teams.

-A piece from The Shreveport Times about tournament director Wilbert Ellis that I found mildly interesting.

So if you're headed to the games, have fun. If you're gonna be stuck in the office, though, all day like me, join me in the Section V Forum to talk about the Baylor-Arizona game at 2:00pm.
