JJ tied for 38th

JJ is finished for the day and is currently sitting in a tie for 38th at 3 under. While he did drop a few spots today, he is in a good position to make a run this weekend. Everyone thats gonna be there this weekend don't forget to wear your purple and show some support.

Oh and John Daly is in a tie for 20 at 5 under, which is just amazing. Wouldn't be a bad idea to hit up a local Hooters one evening this weekend for a possible Lion sighting.

One win away

Twenty-four hours after Matt Purke fanned 14 Utah Utes, Kyle Winkler nearly matched him with a career-high 12 K's against UNLV last night to put TCU one win away from the MWC Tournament title. Steven Maxwell will take the hill for the Frogs tonight at 9:00pm.

They'll be taking on the winner of this afternoon's game between New Mexico, who came back from a six-run deficit to defeat BYU yesterday, and UNLV. The Frogs, who would be playing in their third game of the tournament (and have only used four pitchers), would have the advantage over their opponent not only because of the quick turnaround but also because the Lobos would be playing in their fourth game of the weekend and the Rebels their fifth.
