Projected BCS Rankings

The first official BCS Standings are still a week away, but ESPN's Brad Edwards, who is to the BCS what Joe Lunardi is to the basketball field of 65, has released his projections of what the standings would look like if we had them this week, and it might open a few eyes:

1. Boise State
2. Oregon
3. TCU
4. Oklahoma
5. Ohio State
6. LSU
7. Nebraska
8. Auburn
9. Michigan State
10. Alabama

Could it be that even computers can see that the Big 10 sucks and if Ohio State lucked into another national championship that they would get raped...again?

I've learned by watching the media that if the BCS standings don't agree with the human polls they are wrong and should be blown up.

I saw this unveield on the ESPN Sunday night BCS show. Obviously this will change week in and week out due to games played/strength of schedule. The announcers got to put in their picks as well. Craig James had TCU ranked the lowest (#5). What a dick! He argued more against non-AQ schools vs AQ schools records at the end of the season and who should be in the NC

Gotta love the polls! Shouldn't coaches be game-prepping on Thursday night? Not the voting coaches -- they watched Nebraska beat an unranked 4-0 KState team which was obviously impressive since they jumped TCU in the coaches poll.

NU is so impressive -- they have not played, or won, against a ranked team (TCU did and won). They beat 2 AQ teams (so has TCU). They beat 2 FBS schools (one by 14 pts; the other by 39 pts). TCU only played one FBS (only because TT was scared and backed out) by 55pts.
NU is soooooo impressive. Their future is bright -- they might play a ranked team this year (TCU plays 2 more).

God bless the computers!
