Some Bad Baseball News

I hate to bring everyone down of your 4-0 high, and we're certainly not breaking this story or anything but it's worth passing along. Kaleb Merck, who became one of the Frogs' most reliable pitchers down the stretch last season, will miss the entire 2011 after having Tommy John Surgery. It sucks, because Merck was expected to be the top bullpen option for Schlossnagle. But, as was mentioned in the Q&A with Coach Schloss that was in today's Dump, there are some impressive newcomers in the pitching staff that could help alleviate this loss.

Steven Maxwell coming back already got a +1... now a definite +2.
