Chancellor Boschini, Chris Del Conte and the rest of the folks in charge at TCU are obviously readers of Spit Blood, as they have finally given in to my childish impatience and called a press conference for 1:30pm today to officially announce plans for the renovation of Amon G. Carter Stadium. Check back here this afternoon, as I'm sure one of us will post any information/pictures that we come across.

Someone in FW needs to skip out of work and do some reporting for us.
It's going to be carried live on KTCU.

I'm very excited about this new renovation but at the same time a little worried. People are going to get real screwed by this deal and I have a feeling there might be quite a bit of backlash. I've heard rumors about how much ticket prices will be for the club level seating (In the $3000/ticket range) and it's absolutely ridiculous. All of the money was donated so they don't have any debt to payoff for this renovation. If those numbers are true, I just don't see people spending that much money to go to a TCU game, especially since we can't sell out our stadium as it it. Hopefully this won't be the case and ticket prices don't go up that much, but if they do, then TCU might have a big problem on their hands.
I'm never going to sit in those seats, though.
How much will tickets be in Section V?
FW Business Press article says there will only be 2,500 club seats.
Also, what about all the tailgate spots just on the outside of the west and southwest section of the stadium, from the pictures it looks like many of those spots will no longer exist.
