When it rains, it POURS

Things just can't get any better for TCU baseball, can they? First-ever 50-win season, first College World Series berth after beating UT on their home field. But things are happening for TCU baseball alumni, too.

First it was Scott Atchison, making the Red Sox roster out of training camp. Then Andrew Cashner got called up to the Cubs...then Jake Arrieta to the Orioles...then Chad Huffman to the Yankees. Wow! And now, Sam Demel has been traded from the A's organization to the Diamonbacks...who have immediately called him up to The Show. Don't think recruits aren't taking notice...TCU baseball is a force to be reckoned with.

Sam made his debut last night in Boston. He pitched 1 inning, 0 hits, 0 walks, 0 runs, and 1 k. Didn't help though as the D-backs still lost 6-2. But hey, can't blame the Frog!
