Cashner picked up his first hold last night with the cubs, two scoreless innings, two k's. He looked poised and confident. Announcer said "that was strasburg like, what cashner did tonight for the cubs"

Might be a pretty big overstatement, but thanks I guess. Hard to compare 2 innings with 2 K's to Strasburg.

you think? i thought it went without saying

The announcers weren't comparing them stat wise but more the way he was in control of his pitches like Strasburg was. They were talking about how impressive it was for them to have such control even throwing in the high 90s. Cashner was throwing 96-98.

Seriously, Strasburg-like is already being used? The dude has pitched one, all be it damn impressive, game.
