One win away

Twenty-four hours after Matt Purke fanned 14 Utah Utes, Kyle Winkler nearly matched him with a career-high 12 K's against UNLV last night to put TCU one win away from the MWC Tournament title. Steven Maxwell will take the hill for the Frogs tonight at 9:00pm.

They'll be taking on the winner of this afternoon's game between New Mexico, who came back from a six-run deficit to defeat BYU yesterday, and UNLV. The Frogs, who would be playing in their third game of the tournament (and have only used four pitchers), would have the advantage over their opponent not only because of the quick turnaround but also because the Lobos would be playing in their fourth game of the weekend and the Rebels their fifth.

Yeah, and he's a soph. It would be pretty nasty if are lucky enough to have him, Purke, and Maxwell all back next season for the weekend rotation. Really hope Maxwell doesn't leave.

So glad they took those atrocious Hotel Deals commercials off the air last night.

Those looked like something a group of middle school students made for a class project.

Radio said regional tixxies are like $60 for adults and $45 for kids. Where they that high last year?

Yeah, that's the going rate for the all weekend pass, so technically you get like 6 games or whatever.
