With the regular season completed, the Horned Frogs now turn their attention to achieving their postseason goals. That starts with avenging their loss in last season's Mountain West Conference Tournament, although this year they won't be playing at home as this year's tournament is being played at Tony Gwynn Stadium in sunny San Diego (the picture above was taken this afternoon as the Frogs worked out, and was posted on the TCU Baseball facebook page). Not too shabby a place to play some ball, huh?
The action gets started here in a few hours, when #4-seed BYU and #5-seed UNLV face eacother at 5:00pm Texas time. Following that game, it'll be #3-seed San Diego State against #6-seed (and defending tournament champs) Utah at approximately 9:00pm Texas time. Both games are being televised on The Mtn and CBS-College Sports.
As the #1-seed, TCU will face the lower-seeded team between tonight's winners. So that means that they're first game (being played tomorrow night at 9:00pm Texas time) will be against either Utah, BYU or UNLV. The Frogs' objective this weekend is pretty simple: three straight wins and they are conference champs.
