MWC Hoops off to a good start

It's pretty early to really get into college hoops, especially with the lackluster start that the Frogs are having. But after a productive weekend that included New Mexico beating A&M in Houston and San Diego State destroying Arizona, the conference as a whole is looking pretty good. According to RealTimeRPI.com, the MWC ranks 7th among Division I conferences, right behind the Big Ten and just ahead of the Pac 10. In the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll Top 25, New Mexico is 19th, UNLV 23rd and BYU among those also receiving votes. This is a pretty good start for a league that was supposed to have a down year in 2009-2010.

Show some love.
