Rival's Jeremy Clark to talk TCU on Houston radio tonight

For those of you in the Houston area Jeremy Clark of Purple Menace, TCU's rivals site, will be on at 8:15 tonight to talk about Horned Frog recruiting. Signing day is a week from tomorrow so, as I'm sure most of you have noticed, there has been a lot of movement lately. If you're in range of 97.5's Houston signal I would recommend listening. Maybe even listen then let those of us that can't tune in know what he says.
4th OOC Game Close to Being Announced
According to this morning's Daily Skiff, the Frogs are 7 to 10 days from announcing their 4th out of conference opponent for the 2009 season. In the article, Associate Athletic Director Jack Hesselbrock says that he has reached an agreement with a school that is a "nice, solid name that people will know" and that the Frogs will travel to the unamed school for a road game this fall with a future home game at Amon G.The speculation on this topic has been pretty rampant. Ole Miss has been the name floated out there the most, along with Penn State, Ohio State, Kansas State, Florida State, Houston and Tulane. There has also been some pessimist speculation that the Frogs might have to resort to filling that 4th game with a I-AA opponent such as McNeese State. The unattractiveness of that matchup is compounded by the fact that the Frogs already have an '09 home game against Texas State. The other scheduled out of conference games are an away game against Virginia and a home game against our favorite coked-out, football-inept "rivals" 30 miles to the East.
As for the complete football schedule, don't hold your breath. Since the Frogs joined the MWC, their schedules have come out on March 8, March 1, March 20 and a ridiculously late April 1 last year. I'd gladly wait until June if it meant the Utah game would be on a Saturday night.
