With all of the excitement over the football team going on right now, you probably weren't even aware that Jim Christian and his Horned Frog basketball team are playing in the Preseason NIT. The Frogs got to 2-0 last night in the opener of the tournament by downing Cal State-Northridge, 83-65, with a barrage of twelve three-pointers. Tonight at 10:30pm, the Frogs will take on the equally 2-0 Arizona State Sun Devils in Tempe on ESPN 2. The winner of tonight's game moves on to the Preseason NIT Final Four at Madison Square Garden.

I hope ASU is ready for the Eastern Block Tag Team known as Buljan and Ruzgas. They have no pitty on any one from somewhere as sunny and beautiful as Arizona. Behind the Iron Curtain their only pleasures as children were the touch of cold steel, the taste of gruel, and the smell of oppression.
I talked with Ronnie Moss at GameDay on Saturday.
He seemed excited about the season and I told him we were going to try and get as many people to go as possible.
I know it's still football season, but let's all make a push to go out and support these guys when we can.
I don't know a Ronnie Moss.
But I did meet a Tuffy Moss at gameday got my picture with him, which Viking Frog ruined by showing up in the background making a very odd face.
Tuffy Moss, game worn jersey in my my closet, ready to go.
Time to go buy the invisible solid Old Spice.
Frog Nachos... nuff said
Ruzgas with 0 points in 24 minutes!?!? In the Soviet era that gets you a one way ticket to the Siberian gulag.
Buljan. Ruzgas went off in the 2nd half and ended up with 18. Buljan layed an egg and played horrendous defense on ASU's Boateng
My bad, it should be Buljan on the one way train to the gulag
