The Next Demarcus Ware?

I am very happy that Hughes is returning next season, but it is going to be nice to see another first round pick from TCU dominate the other side of the ball come Sundays.

Bumpas a Finalist for Broyles Award

One the finalists for the award given to the nation's best assistant coach. Also nominated for Mustache of the Century (at least he should be).

1st Annual College Football Bowl Pick 'Em

I have set up an office pool on the web's premier office pool site,, and would like you to participate in the pool. This pool, like all pools on Fun Office Pools is completely FREE to play. All you need to do is create an account (again - completely FREE and spam FREE as well) by clicking on the 'join pool' link below. It only takes a minute to sign up and join the pool.

You have been invited to join tefincher's office pool. To do so, just click join pool.

If the link does not work, copy into the address field on your browser.

Pool Name: SpitBloodTCU
Password: titans
Type: College Bowl Pick'em -- choose confidence version points or straight 1-point each game, pick with or without spreads. Games can be customized by Pool Commissioner.
Description: Join Spit Blood TCU's first annual College Football Bowl Pick'em. Winner gets recognition in the side bar of the blog for an entire year, until we fight for the crown all over again next year.

We are picking against the spread this time to really test your skills. I also plan on having alot more join this bowl pick em than we had in the regular season. Join today, games will be released on the 7th I believe.

The winner receives a "trophy" in the side bar of the blog that will be present a up until next year when we go at it again.

I'll take the time now to congratulate AndyTCU as the winner of the 2008 College Football Pick 'Em regular season winner. Your trophy will be up soon. If anyone has time to create a better trophy than the piece of crap I come up with, your help would be appreciated.

Picture of the Day

No, that isn't the handi-work of some smart ass with Photoshop and too much time on his hands. That's an actual casket for sale from a company called Eternal Images. You can read more about it HERE.
If I weren't swamped at work today, I could probably come up with something funny about this. But since I am, I'll leave the tomfoolery up to you jokers.
