# 5 Gary Patterson

There was some debate on whether to include Gary or to list him as too early to tell since he is still coaching. However, when looking at all he has already done for the Frogs it was decided that leaving him off would do the list a great injustice.

Coach Patterson is the only Frog coach to record more that one double digit win season, having recorded one 10-win season and 3 eleven win seasons. These outstanding seasons have helped him become the fastest coach in TCU history to win 50 games. Patterson is 62-25 as a head coach since taking over eight years ago.

His raspy voice, no nonsense attitude and incredible motivational skills have made him truly one of the best coaches in the country. Ever since making the move from defensive coordinator to head coach, Patterson's hard nose defensive mentality has been a staple of Horned Frog teams. I could go on and on about Gary but I'll sum it up with this.

In Gary We Trust.
